We chose Ironwoods Beach on Maui’s north shore, a place that always brings a slightly wild, untouched feeling.

The weather that day was… uncertain.

Dark clouds moved quickly across the sky, the rain came and went. We talked about rescheduling, but decided to trust the moment and go for it.

And somehow, the rain never came!

We were given soft muted tones, moody skies, and a calm, diffused light that wrapped everything in a quiet atmosphere.

Alexandra and Clayton were so easy to photograph. They leaned into each other, moved slowly, laughed, and simply were together.

That’s always the goal - to create space where nothing feels forced.

Their photos feel relaxed, romantic, and full of anticipation for what’s ahead.

Proof that you don’t need perfect weather or a perfect sunset to create something meaningful - just the right presence, the right place, and a willingness to embrace whatever the moment brings.
