Maui Surprise Proposal Photography

I’ll help you plan the proposal by guiding you in choosing the location, timing, and the best way to keep it a surprise. On the day of, I’ll stay in touch via text to make sure everything goes smoothly. When the moment happens, I’ll be there capturing all the emotions as they unfold. And after the 'yes,' we’ll take some beautiful engagement photos!

The best time of day for a proposal depends on the kind of atmosphere you want! At sunrise the light is soft and dreamy, a fewer crowds, but it can be a little tricky unless it's normal for you both to wake up early for a beach walk. Sunset is less suspicious and provides warmer light and more contrast to the images, making it a perfect time for a romantic moment. If you want a good lighting while keeping the surprise element, sunset is often the way to go!

One of the best ways to make sure she dresses up is to plan a dinner at a restaurant. This way, she’ll naturally want to wear something nice. It is a good idea to suggest a casual "sunset walk" before dinner, which makes it more natural.

Another important detail - her nails! Since I’ll be capturing close-ups of the ring, it’s a great idea to make sure her nails are looking good. You might casually suggest a manicure day or have a friend encourage her to get them done before the big moment.
