Travel Photography: Japan

I recently took a trip to Japan with my husband, and I would like to share some photos with you! Japan was a paradise to photograph. Everywhere we went, there was something so unusual and unique to capture!

Streets

One of my favorite things to do when traveling is simply walking around with my camera and capturing the surroundings. Each street walk reveals life and culture. I love to observe the architecture, the locals, the interactions happening around me.

Temples and Shrines

It was amazing to see how in such big cities like Tokyo or Kyoto, there is always a place for peace and calm. We visited some temples, shrines, and gardens, which were a big contrast to the neon lights and crowded streets.

Nature

During our trip, we spent some time hiking through lush forests up into the mountains, and it was absolutely magical! The calming sounds of birds and flowing streams created such a peaceful atmosphere, and the Buddhist structures along the way added some mystery to our hiking experience. The trails, surrounded by greenery, led us to the top of the mountains with breathtaking views.

There is always place for nature even in the big bustling city.

Just a two hour train ride from Tokyo and you are at the beach!

Nightlife

Nightlife was a big contrast to its peaceful days. Neon lights lit up the streets, creating a vibrant atmosphere. We loved taking night walks through quiet narrow streets as well as bustling main areas.
