Lifestyle Newborn Beach Photography on Maui | 3-months-old baby Luke | Hawaii Family Photographer
Las week I had a sweet beach family session with Justin, Libby, their adorable 3-month-old son Luke, and their dog, Koki. It was their first time beach adventure with baby Luke, and for this reason we chose quiet and uncrowded beach at the north shore of Maui. Justin and Libby wanted to capture these new chapter in their life in beautiful photos to preserve the memories and share the images with their family.
To adjust the baby’s schedule we agreed on early morning session with soft and gentle light, which I personally prefer for family photos. Mixing candid and slightly posed shots I was able to capture the genuine joy of their family. Baby Luke's wonder and Koki's playful attitude added an extra layer of charm to the photos. As it was their first time taking the baby to the beach, the session became a celebration of this special family experience!
The result was a collection of heartwarming photographs that perfectly captured the love and pure joy of Justin, Libby, Luke, and Koki!
You may ask, what is lifestyle newborn session and how is is different from a “regular” newborn photography? It means that we are not going to wrap your newborn in cabbage leaves, or put a flower crown on his/her head. Lifestyle photography is about telling a story of people through the camera. The focus is on the connection between the parents and the baby, or the baby in his or her new surroundings. It’s more simple and relaxed approach to newborn photography, and although there is some direction going on, the child isn’t posed in anyway. It’s about capturing what is!
