A Dreamy Sunset Maternity Session at Po’olenalena Beach | Maui Babymoon Photography

The sunsets in Wailea always bring some magic to a photoshoot! This time, I had the pleasure of capturing D'Marco and Carley as they celebrated the beautiful journey of parenthood. The evening was filled with fun and peaceful vibes, and serene Maui sunset.

When Carley first reached out, she shared her vision for the shoot by sending over a Pinterest moodboard. The vibe she was looking for was romantic, candid, and full of authentic moments. With that in mind, we planned a session that felt relaxed and natural to their relationship.

Po'olenalena Beach is one of my favorite spots for sunset pictures! Golden sand, palm trees, and lava rocks make the perfect setting for photography.

Instead of stiff, posed images, we focused on movement and connection. I encouraged them to walk along the beach, hold hands, and simply enjoy each other’s company. Carley’s smile and D'Marco’s admiration for her created moments that were effortless to capture!

Looking back at the photos, I’m so grateful to have been a part of this special time in their lives. Maternity sessions like this remind me how beautiful it is to capture the emotions that come with expecting a little one. Congratulations to D'Marco and Carley!
