I love taking photos at Po‘olenalena beach! The soft golden sand, lava rocks glowing at sunset, and the quiet, open shoreline make it one of my favorite places for romantic sessions — and the perfect spot for a surprise proposal.
Last week I had the honor of photographing Joneil and Yulissa’s engagement, and it was one of those evenings where everything aligned beautifully.
After the proposal, we spent the rest of sunset wandering along the shoreline, climbing over lava rocks, and shooting in that golden, dreamy light that Wailea is famous for.
